Three Feathers Pinot POP!

Three Feathers Pinot POP | Oregon Sparkling Wine

Three Feathers Pinot POP is a refreshing lightly sparkling red wine is a playful product of the Précoce (75%) and Pommard (25%) clones of Pinot Noir.

“Pinot POP” catches the eye with a fuchsia color that matches its aromas of red raspberries and strawberry bubble gum. Its slightly off-dry red cherry and nectarine fruit flavors intersect with traces of chamomile, lemon and fresh-baked brioche. The bubbles feel soft and lazy on the palate.

Aromas of strawberry and bramble-berry fruits, this wine is a fun accompaniment for barbecues and potluck.  Fermented and aged in stainless steel, the fruit flavors are laid bare. Not too high in alcohol, we added carbonation to create this sparkling wine.

Pinot POP Tasting Notes This refreshing lightly sparkling red wine is a playful product of the Precoce (75%) and Pommard (25%) clones of Pinot Noir. Aromas of strawberry and bramble-berry fruits, this wine is a fun accompaniment for barbecues and potluck.

Vineyard Notes 2024 was an excellent growing season on Chehalem Mountains. Following bud break on April 25th, we had dry weather for the next 12 weeks; the only rain came later in September and harvest was sunny and clear.  This wine is made from the Pommard clone on our Torio Vineyard site planted in 2011.

Winemaker Notes Fermented and aged in stainless steel, the fruit flavors are laid bare. Not too high in alcohol, we added carbonation to create this sparkling wine.

Three Feathers in the Press

We are pleased that online blogger, Winerabble, has written about our Laurelwood District AVA. Her articles include tasting notes for our 2020 Pinot Gris, 2018 Cuvée Virginia and 2017 Pinot Noir. You can follow the evolution of this unique Chehalem Mountains wine in the following year’s vintages. For example, our 2018 Reserve 667 and 2019 Pinot Noir are also made solely from Pinot Noir clone “Dijon 667” grown in Block One of Three Feathers.
