Description
Three Feathers 2020 Oregon Pinot Gris
Tasting Notes
Crisp and slightly effervescent, our full-bodied Pinot Gris displays characteristic bright floral flavors with notes of white peaches and melon.

Vineyard Notes
Our 2020 Pinot Gris is the long-awaited first release of many from Block Three of Three Feathers Vineyard. Planted in 2014, these vines have been pushing roots into the fine iron-rich Laurelwood soil for six years. Thanks to our netting strategy, the berries came to perfect ripeness and we had enough gorgeous grapes to make this very exceptional wine.
2020 was an excellent growing season on Chehalem Mountains. Following bud break, we had dry weather for the next 10 weeks; the only rain came mid-September and harvest was sunny and clear.
Winemaker Notes
The grapes were hand-harvested, sorted and pressed. The grapes were fermented for 6 months on stainless steel, preserving the fruit flavors and light acidity.
